The objective of CCS is to abide by the national constitution , laws , regulations and policies and conform to the social moral practices , and to provide services for the shipping , shipbuilding , offshore exploitation and related manufacturing industries as well as marine insurance by furnishing reasonable and reliable technical rules and standards for ships , offshore installations , containers and related products and conducting survey , certification and technical consultancy services in an independent , impartial and honest manner , for the promotion of safety of life and property on waters and for the protection of marine environment and other environments concerned .
